Playground Fun Writing Paper, Slide and Swing Border

Recess energy, captured on paper. Playground fun writing paper puts a climbing frame, a swooping slide, and a swinging girl right where kids can see them while they write.

A bold banner across the top reads PLAYGROUND FUN! in multicolored letters, flanked by a cartoon boy zooming down a red slide on the left and a girl soaring on a swing set on the right. Colorful bunting, stars, clouds, and a sunshine dot the header, while the side borders repeat small icons: paper planes, swings, beach balls, rubber ducks, and teeter-totter shapes. The footer shows a seesaw, bright flowers, and tufts of grass, completing the outdoor scene. The writing area fills the center with evenly spaced ruled lines, each paired with a faint guide line underneath to keep young handwriting on track.

This playground fun writing paper sits squarely in the cheerful, high-energy end of our Handwriting Practice Pages collection. It suits letters to friends, summer journal entries, or classroom free-write time, and the familiar playground theme gives reluctant writers something fun to look at while they find their words.

Ruled lines and a bright recess scene make this playground fun writing paper an instant kid favorite. Free to print today.

Writing on the Playground Fun Writing Paper

Usage Notes

Fine liners in a 0.4 or 0.5 mm tip glide along the ruled lines without bleeding into the illustrated borders. Ballpoint pens are a solid everyday choice since they stay crisp on standard copy paper. Fountain pens and saturated gel inks can feather on lighter stock, so stick to 80 gsm or above if a child wants to use those. The side borders sit close to the writing area on both edges, so wider pen grips may brush them occasionally, but the lines themselves have good clearance.

Printing Tips

Eighty gsm copy paper keeps the colors punchy and gives enough body for pencil or ballpoint without ghosting through to the back. For a sturdier keepsake, 90 to 100 gsm paper holds up to repeated handling. Print single-sided to protect the illustrated borders, which run close to the sheet edge and can lose detail if trimmed too aggressively.
