Surprised eyes, a chef hat, and a blank line waiting for your best dish name. This kids recipe page printable turns any kitchen experiment into a real written recipe.
The layout is split into four clear sections: a large “Recipe For” name field at the top, a row with Serves and Prep Time blanks, a lined Ingredients column on the left, and a numbered Directions column on the right with eight steps. Cartoon vegetables, pots, utensils, and a wide-eyed boy in a chef hat fill the border without crowding the writing space.
Kids use the Ingredients column for a list of whatever goes into their dish, with about ten ruled lines at comfortable spacing for young handwriting. The eight numbered steps in Directions give enough room to write one short instruction per line. Part of the Cookbook Recipe Page Templates collection, this sheet suits early writers working through a school cooking project or recording a family recipe in their own words.

Ballpoint pens work well on the narrower Ingredients lines and keep writing crisp without smudging when pages are stacked. The Directions column is slightly wider, so gel pens or even chunky felt tips are comfortable there for younger hands. Laminate a copy and use dry-erase markers if a child wants to practise filling it in before committing in pen.

Cardstock around 80 gsm holds up when little hands are passing the sheet across a kitchen counter. Print several copies at once so kids have spares for different recipes, and leave a small left margin if the pages are going into a binder or folder.
