Idaho License Plate Game Printable, 50 States Plus Mileage Log

Potatoes and pine trees are just the start. The Idaho license plate game printable packs a full 50-state spotter, a mileage log, and a sightings list onto one sheet.

Four distinct sections fill this page. The dominant 50 States Challenge grid shows all 50 illustrated state plates numbered and arranged in rows, each with a checkbox underneath. To the right, a Mileage Log table gives ten numbered rows with columns for Stop, From, To, and Miles, plus a Total Miles summary field. Below the grid, a Things I Spotted checklist runs two columns of illustrated items including Cow, Horse, Deer, Bald Eagle, Wind Turbine, Barn, Lake or River, Waterfall, Train, Bridge, Hot Air Balloon, Motorcycle, Camper/RV, Road Sign, Tunnel, Snowy Mountain, Fields/Farmland, Wildflowers, Rainbow, and Something Awesome, each with its own checkbox. A blank Draw Your Road Trip box at the bottom left gives open space for a sketch of the journey.

The Idaho license plate game printable is built to travel well. Kids can work the state grid independently while a parent logs mileage, and the sightings list gives everyone something to watch for between stops. The draw box is generous enough for a simple scene and doubles as a quiet activity during long stretches. One printed copy per passenger keeps the competition honest.

Spot all 50 states on this Idaho license plate game printable, complete with a mileage log, sightings checklist, and drawing space. Free instant download.

Usage Notes

Ballpoint pens are the most reliable choice for the small state checkboxes and the narrow mileage log columns, since the fields leave just enough room for a tick or a short place name. Gel pens work well in the larger Things I Spotted checkboxes but can smear if the sheet gets handled while still wet. The draw box takes colored pencil or thin marker without bleed risk, and the whole sheet can be filled in digitally if you prefer to keep it on a tablet.

Printing Tips

Standard 20 lb copy paper is fine for a single-trip sheet, but bumping to 28 lb means the mileage log holds up to repeated erasing if pencil is used. Print one copy per passenger and keep a small stack in the glovebox for longer legs of the trip.
