My Recipe Page for Kids, Carrots, Strawberries, and Chef Hat

Rolling pins, cartoon carrots, and a grinning strawberry cheering from the corner: this my recipe page for kids makes filling in a real recipe feel like a big deal.

At the top, a yellow ribbon banner reads “My Recipe” with a “Made with love” tagline underneath. Below that sit three short header fields: Recipe for, Serves, and Prep Time, with a small chef hat illustration in the corner. The page then splits into two dashed-border boxes side by side: an Ingredients column on the left with ten heart-bulleted lines, and a Steps column on the right with eight numbered lines. A Notes section with three ruled lines runs across the full width at the bottom.

This my recipe page for kids gives enough room to jot down most simple recipes in one shot. The heart bullets in the ingredients column are wide enough for a child’s handwriting, and the eight numbered steps handle everything from a sandwich to a batch of cookies. It suits young cooks who are ready to write their very own page in our Cookbook Recipe Page Templates collection.

Adorable my recipe page for kids features heart bullet ingredients, eight numbered steps, and a smiling strawberry. Print and write today.

Getting Started With My Recipe Page for Kids

Usage Notes

Fine liners around 0.4 mm suit the heart-bulleted ingredient lines well since the rows are narrow and close together. The numbered steps column is slightly more generous, so a regular gel pen or even a chunky ballpoint works without crowding the text. Laminate a copy and kids can fill it in with dry-erase markers, wipe it clean, and reuse it every time they try a new dish.

Printing Tips

Standard copy paper is fine for everyday use, but 80 gsm cardstock holds up better if little hands are writing and erasing repeatedly. Print a small stack at once so there is always a fresh sheet ready when inspiration strikes.
