My Weekly Chores Chart, Five Tasks With Daily Checkbox Grid

Thirty-five checkboxes and a glowing reward star waiting at the bottom. My weekly chores chart turns five everyday tasks into something a kid actually wants to finish.

My weekly chores chart lays out five pre-filled chores down the left column, Put Away Toys, Help Set the Table, Put Clothes in Hamper, Water the Plants, and Brush My Teeth, each paired with a small kawaii-style illustration. Seven day columns run Monday through Sunday, each headed by a cheerful icon like a sunshine, watering can, or rainbow, with a single open checkbox per chore per day. At the bottom, a dashed reward zone features a smiling gold star and the prompt “My Reward Star! Place your star here when you finish!”

The chart works best with a sticker placed in the reward zone once all 35 boxes are checked, giving kids a clear endpoint to work toward each week. Checkbox squares are generously sized for small hands holding a crayon or chunky marker. It suits younger children who are building their first independent routines and need the tasks spelled out rather than blank lines to fill in themselves.

Checkboxes for five chores across seven days, this my weekly chores chart includes a reward star section and instant download.

Usage Notes

Gel pens with a fine or medium tip fit the checkbox squares cleanly without bleeding into neighboring cells. A washable marker also works for younger kids who might need to practice their checkmarks a few times. Because the boxes are pre-labeled rather than blank, there is no writing-in-tasks step, so the only marks made are daily checks, which means even a regular copy-paper print holds up reasonably well through the week.

Printing Tips

Laminate a copy and use a dry-erase marker on the checkboxes so the chart resets every Monday without reprinting. If you prefer fresh paper each week, printing a small batch of four or five copies at once on 32 lb paper keeps the sheet stiff enough to hang or clip to a clipboard without curling.
