Scallop Circle Border Page, Wave and Ring Frame

Scallop circle border page pairs two motifs that rarely show up together: a wavy outer edge and a steady column of open rings marching down every side.

Two layers of patterning make up the border frame. The outermost edge runs a continuous wave or scallop line, while just inside it a column of small open circles lines all four sides from corner to corner. The interior is entirely open, giving you a generous blank field to write, print, or illustrate into.

This page from the Fancy Page Borders collection works well as stationery, a certificate base, or a writing prompt sheet. The open rings along the sides are small but distinct, making them easy to fill with color or leave as-is for a clean, formal look. Anyone who wants a structured frame without a busy interior will find the layout just right.

How to Use Your Scallop Circle Border Page

Usage Notes

Gel pens with a fine 0.5 mm tip handle the small open circles comfortably without flooding the rings. The scallop wave at the outer edge is narrow, so a 0.3 mm fine liner gives you the most control there. If you plan to write inside the open interior, a ballpoint pen works without bleed-through risk on standard copy paper.

Printing Tips

Single-sided printing keeps the interior clean for handwriting or a text layer added before printing. Leave a slightly wider left margin if you plan to hole-punch and add the sheet to a binder. One copy per occasion is typical, but printing a small stack works well for consistent stationery sets.
