Five rows of trains, school buses, and cars ask one question each: what comes next? The vehicle patterns worksheet keeps the answer just out of sight until scissors and glue say otherwise.
Each of the five numbered rows shows a repeating sequence of kawaii-style vehicles, including trains, red cars, yellow school buses, green cars, and blue buses, with a dashed answer box at the right end. A scissor-marked cut line separates the main grid from six answer tiles at the bottom of the page, each showing one vehicle to snip out and paste into the correct row. A name line sits at the top, and a cheerful “Great job!” banner closes the sheet.
This vehicle patterns worksheet works well as a focused seat activity or a guided small-group task. Kids study the sequence, identify the missing vehicle, then cut and paste their choice into place, building both pattern recognition and fine motor skills. The rows are sized generously enough for small hands to manage scissors comfortably. It fits naturally into the Homeschool collection alongside other early math practice pages.

Pencil is the right call for the name line at the top since corrections are easy. The answer boxes and answer tiles are large enough that a broad-tip marker or crayon can label tiles before cutting if you want kids to mark their choice first. Avoid wet-tip pens near the cut tiles, as thin paper can curl when the glue is applied and wet ink underneath makes it worse.

Card stock at 65 lb or heavier keeps the cut tiles stiff and easier for small hands to handle. Print single-sided so the glue does not bleed through. Running a few extra copies means each child gets a full set of answer tiles without sharing.
