A weekly chores chart with points that actually explains why some jobs are worth more than others, right on the sheet, no separate conversation required.
Six chores run down the left column, each paired with a kawaii icon and a short motivational subtitle. Make My Bed, Put Away Laundry, Sweep the Floor, and Clear the Table each earn 10 points, while Water Plants and Take Out the Trash are assigned 5 points each. Seven star-shaped checkboxes span Monday through Sunday for every chore, and a Points column on the far right shows the value at a glance.
The bottom section splits into a Weekly Points Tally on the left, with a My Goal field and a My Total field large enough for a single written number, and a You’re Doing Amazing badge row on the right featuring five illustrated badges: Super Helper, Keep Up the Great Work, You Rock, Proud of You, and Chore Champ. This weekly chores chart with points suits families who want effort weighted by task difficulty rather than a flat star-per-chore system. It lives in the Weekly Chore Charts collection alongside simpler star-only versions.

The star checkboxes are roomy enough for a quick colored-pencil fill or a crayon X without bleeding into neighboring cells. Fine liners work well in the My Goal and My Total fields, which are compact but tall enough for two-digit numbers written at a normal hand size. Laminating the sheet lets a dry-erase marker handle the star boxes and tally fields week after week without reprinting.

One copy per week at standard letter size on 32 lb paper holds up to repeated handling and erasing better than 20 lb stock. Leave the left margin slightly wider if you plan to punch holes and drop it into a binder at the end of the month for a running record.
