Weekly Chores Chart With Reflection and Responsibility Rating

Four reflection prompts at the bottom of this weekly chores chart with reflection section turn a simple checkbox routine into a real conversation about effort, pride, and what comes next.

Eight pre-filled chores sit in the left column: Make My Bed, Do My Laundry, Vacuum My Room, Wash Dishes, Take Out the Trash, Water Plants, Help with Groceries, and Homework/Study Time. Each row includes a five-star Responsibility Rating column asking “How responsible was I?” plus individual checkboxes for Monday through Sunday, color-coded across the week.

The bottom of the page splits into two sections. The Weekly Reflection box holds four dashed write-in lines, one each for what went well, what could be improved, something to feel proud of, and a goal for next week. The Keep Growing panel sits beside it with a garden illustration and the phrase “Your future is built by what you do today, not tomorrow.” This weekly chores chart with reflection works well for kids who respond to end-of-week check-ins as much as daily tick boxes, and it fits naturally into the Weekly Chore Charts collection.

How to Use Your Weekly Chores Chart With Reflection

Usage Notes

Ballpoint pens are reliable for the five-star rating column since the stars are small outlines and a fine tip keeps marks neat inside them. The daily checkboxes are generously sized for a simple tick or X with any pen. Dashed reflection lines give enough room for a sentence or two in each prompt, so a medium-point gel pen writes comfortably there without crowding. Laminating a copy and using a dry erase marker lets kids reuse the chart each week without printing again.

Printing Tips

Cardstock at 65 lb or heavier handles repeated handling across a full week without the page buckling from daily use. Print single-sided and leave the left margin clear if you plan to hole-punch it for a household binder, since the chore column sits close to that edge.
