Usage Notes
Fine-liner pens in 0.3 or 0.4 mm suit the star checkboxes without bleeding outside the outlines. The dollar fields in the allowance panel are narrow, so a ballpoint or a sharp pencil keeps entries legible and easy to correct if a child wants to erase and update their savings total. The goal section’s dotted lines give just enough room for a sentence each, which works well with a gel pen at medium tip.
Printing Tips
Heavier card stock, around 65 lb or more, handles repeated pen and pencil use across a full week without buckling. Laminating a copy and using a dry-erase marker for the star checkboxes while keeping the goal and allowance fields on a fresh insert each week is a practical middle ground. Print one sheet per week and file completed sheets so kids can look back at their savings growth.
