Weekly Chores Star Chart, Six Tasks and a 7-Star Reward

Seven stars stand between your kid and a reward they actually care about. This weekly chores star chart puts six everyday tasks on the table, one grid, one week, zero arguing about what counts.

The weekly chores star chart lays out six labeled chore rows down the left side, each with a small icon matching the task, and seven day columns running Monday through Sunday. Every cell holds a single outlined star, color-coded by column, ready to be colored in when the job is done. A reward tracker runs along the bottom with the prompt “Earn 7 stars and earn a reward,” showing seven solid gold stars as a visual goal line. A white bunny, a brown bear, a yellow chick, and a gray bunny holding a carrot appear in the corners.

This chart belongs to the Weekly Chore Charts collection and is designed for young children who respond well to visual progress. Each star outline is roughly thumbnail-sized, giving plenty of room for a crayon or marker fill without needing fine motor precision. The six chores printed on the chart are make my bed, pick up my toys, read for 20 minutes, set the table, put clothes in laundry, and brush my teeth, so it works as-is for many households without any customization.

Earn seven stars and claim a reward with this weekly chores star chart featuring six kid-friendly tasks and colorful outline stars to fill in daily.

Getting Started With Your Weekly Chores Star Chart

Usage Notes

Crayons are the natural fit here since the star outlines are generous enough that even small hands can fill them in without going outside the lines. Washable markers work too, especially if you want a bold, satisfying fill. Avoid felt-tip markers on standard copy paper, as the ink tends to bleed through and muddy the row below.

Printing Tips

Laminate a copy and use a dry-erase crayon so the chart resets each Monday without reprinting. If you prefer a fresh sheet weekly, standard 20 lb copy paper is fine, but 32 lb paper holds up better through a full week of small hands touching it.
