Ballpoint pens also work well and won’t bleed through to any decoration on the reverse. Fountain pens and heavy gel inks risk feathering on standard copy-weight paper, so save those for a thicker stock if kids want to fancy it up. Printing Tips
A 75 to 90 gsm copy paper weight is fine for one-sided use, but bump to a 100 gsm or light cardstock if you want to use the reverse without any show-through. The design fills a standard letter sheet and does not need trimming for a binder or folder.
